The Gravity of US

Product description of  The Gravity of US

Graham Russell and I weren’t made for one another.

I was driven by emotion; he was apathetic. I dreamed while he lived in nightmares. I cried when he had no tears to shed.

Despite his frozen heart and my readiness to run, we sometimes shared seconds. Seconds when our eyes locked and we saw each other’s secrets. Seconds when his lips tasted my fears, and I breathed in his pains. Seconds when we both imagined what it would be like to love one another.

Those seconds left us floating, but when reality knocked us sideways, gravity forced us to descend.

Graham Russell wasn’t a man who knew how to love, and I wasn’t a woman who knew how to either. Yet if I had the chance to fall again, I’d fall with him forever.

Even if we were destined to crash against solid ground.

Review

"Beautifully written and achingly heartfelt, THE GRAVITY OF US will pull you in and break your heart, but leave you whole and hopeful. An emotional story about family, escaping the past, and the redemptive power of love. No one writes sexy, tortured heroes like Brittainy Cherry!" - Melanie Harlow

"Love. That's what this book is. In all it's forms: parental, forbidden, platonic, romantic, sisterly, unrequited, unconditional, and never ending. Purely and deeply written by the lovely soul that is Brittainy Cherry. Her heart is in every page." -Author Kim Holden

"The Gravity of Us is Brittainy C. Cherry's best work to date and is living proof that when you write from the heart, magic happens." -Author Kandi Steiner

Huckleberry Finn By Mark Twain Amazon Sales Rank: #588776 in eBooks Published on: 2015-02-09 Released on: 2015-02-09 Format: Kindle eBook See Customer reviews, Rating and Buy. Editorial Reviews Amazon.com Review Mark Twain's classic novel,  The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn , tells the story of a teenaged misfit who finds himself floating on a raft down the Mississippi River with an escaping slave, Jim. In the course of their perilous journey, Huck and Jim meet adventure, danger, and a cast of characters who are sometimes menacing and often hilarious. Though some of the situations in  Huckleberry Finn  are funny in themselves (the cockeyed Shakespeare production in Chapter 21 leaps instantly to mind), this book's humor is found mostly in Huck's unique worldview and his way of expressing himself. Describing his brief sojourn with the Widow Douglas after she adopts him, Huck says: "After supper she got out her book and learned me about M...
